oh my gosh, that is absolutely gorgeous...
I love this--we dry our laundry on the line in above-freezing temperatures and inside on drying racks and line strung across our living space during the frigid winter of upstate NY. I love to drive and see people's laundry on the line.
I love that painting! I'm being quite fussy with which giveaways I enter... don't want to end up with something I put in the cupboard, but this is really lovely. I love the texture!

This is going to sound odd, but hanging out the laundry is my favorite chore. I find it very relaxing and I think an oil painting of clothes on the line would be just perfect.
Lovely colour pallette, hanging washing is also my favorite chore, infact I think I often wash things that don't even need it!

Can it be that all these posters ahead of me love to hang laundry as much as I do???? I doubt it! I just can't wait for winter's icy fingers to retract long enough for me to hang laundry out on the line. All winter I hang laundry on a rack over the furnace vent, but it just isn't the same. I do have a dryer if you think I have no choice...I only use the dryer for towels and when the kids were young, baby clothes. Everything else gets hung!
